Pennsylvania continues to be one of the US's top states regarding monthly sports betting handles. The reports shared that in total, including sports betting, casino gambling, fantasy games, and other legal forms of gambling, the total revenue was $479,377,660.

Continued Growth in Revenue for Pennsylvania
That state saw a 7.05 increase in growth for total revenue from May 2022. The various gambling types included in this report include slot machines, table games, internet gaming, sports wagering, fantasy contests, and video gaming terminals (VGTs).
The biggest increase from any revenue source was the Hollywood Casino Morgantown which had a 27.87% increase from May of 2022. Last year the Casino had a $5.5 million month, and this year, they had a $7.1 million month.
The largest individual source with the highest revenue was Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, which had a $74.3 million month which was an increase of 18.3% after having a $62.8 month in May of 2022.
Forms of Gaming Revenue
There are eight forms of gambling included on the revenue report, and they include retail slots, iGaming Slots, Retail Tables, Sports wagering, iGaming tables, Video Gaming Terminals, iGaming Poker, and fantasy contests.

Sports Wagering Revenue
Looking specifically at the sports betting revenue, the total handle was $495,585,360. The increase from May was not much much at only 0.45% but is still growing year to year. Yet the taxable revenue was much higher year to year, with over a $6 million increase at 17.41% higher over May of 2022.

Fantasy Sports Revenue
The only significant loss for any gaming was Fantasy sports, as they saw -a 22.58% decrease from May of 2022. This May say a $1.2 million revenue, whereas there was a $1.5 million revenue in May of 2023.
