With Week 14 on the horizon in the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers are both favored by sports betting sites, a rarity considering the Steelers up-and-down season.

Here’s a few important betting stats to consider before you place your wagers on Pennsylvania’s two NFL teams.

Sportsbooks Place Eagles as Seven-Point Favorites over Giants

Currently, PA Online Sports Betting sites have the Eagles as a 7-point favorite over their division-rival New York Giants with a point total of 44.5. An outright win on the moneyline for the Eagles currently sits at -310, meaning you need to bet $310 to win $100.

The Giants, one of the bigger surprises in the NFL this season, hold a league-best 9-3 record against the spread in 2022. As underdogs, New York is one of the best teams in football, sporting a 7-1 record.

Philadelphia has their work cut out for them if they plan to cover the seven-point spread because the Giants hold a 5-2 ATS record at their home, MetLife Stadium, while the Eagles are a putrid 1-4 ATS on the road.

Even though we are on Week 14 of the NFL season, this is the first matchup of the year for the NFC East opponents. They’ll face off again Week 18, the final week of the 2022 regular season.

Eagles Team Notes

A darling of national and local bettors all season, the Philadelphia Eagles enter Week 14 with an 11-1 record, but more importantly, a 7-5 record against the spread for a 58.3% cover rate.

Tied for the 6th best record ATS in the NFL, the Eagles also own the 3rd best record in the league when it comes to margin of victory. Winning games by 9.3 points on average, only Dallas and Buffalo have greater winning margins in 2022 than Philadelphia.

Eagles vs. Giants Betting Notes

  • 1-4 ATS on the Road
  • 7-3 ATS After a Win
  • 7-5 ATS as a Favorite

  • 5-2 ATS at Home
  • 7-1 ATS as Underdogs

Steelers Surprisingly Favored Over Ravens

With the injury to Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, Pennsylvania sportsbooks have installed the Steelers as 2.5-point favorites for Sunday’s game. The Steelers have made steady gains with rookie QB Kenny Pickett under center. Pickett has only thrown for over 200 yards once in his last five games as Pittsburgh relies more on RB Najee Harris and the Steelers running game to maintain possession.

Tyler Huntley will start in place of Jackson for the Ravens. Last year, Huntley started the final game of the 2021 regular season against the Steelers. He threw for 141 yards and two interceptions but rushed for 72 yards in the 16-13 Steelers victory.

The Steelers have won their last four matchups against Baltimore, but the games have been tight. Pittsburgh has won the four games by a total of just 13 points.

Steelers Team Notes

Winners of three of their last four games, the Pittsburgh Steelers have quickly turned their season around. Although bettors might point to the fact the three wins came against Atlanta, Indianapolis, and New Orleans, the Steelers have become a tough team for opponents as the 2022 season enters its final stretch.

For the season, Pittsburgh is 6-5-1 against the spread but have been outscored by opponents by just over 5 points per game this season on average.

Steelers vs Ravens Betting Notes

  • 2-2-1 ATS at Home
  • 2-1-1 ATS After a Win
  • 2-1 ATS as Favorite

  • 4-2 ATS on the Road
  • 2-4-1 ATS After a Win
  • 1-0-1 ATS as Underdog
