Pennsylvania Sportsbooks Set Odds for Final Four in Houston

For PA sports betting outlets, the Final Four weekend caps off an exciting three weeks for wagering in the state. After no number one seeds made the Elite Eight for the first time ever, the University of Connecticut Huskies rose above their competitors and become the odds-on favorite to win the championship. 

Other division champions accompanying the Huskies to Houston include the University of Miami, Florida Atlantic University, and San Diego State University. Miami and San Diego State were five seeds entering the tourney, while the Owls are this year’s Cinderella, making the Final Four as a nine seed.

With UConn’s status as the favorite, their spread against Miami has widened to 5.5 points at FanDuel and DraftKings. Even with the teams winning 24 games each this season, UConn’s dominant tournament performance puts them at -245 on the moneyline on FanDuel, with Miami posting +198 odds. The point total for the second semifinal game sits at 149.5.

The Huskies are dangerous in the first half, leading 30 of their 37 games at the break. Miami has led just 21 of their 36 games at halftime.

Florida Atlantic enters their semifinal game against the Aztecs of San Diego State as 1.5-point underdogs. On the moneyline, Florida Atlantic offers +114 odds to bettors, while SDSU comes in at -137 odds. The point total at FanDuel stands at 131.5.

When it comes to the betting favorite entering the final four teams of the tournament, the UConn Huskies hold the top spot at both DraftKings and FanDuel. At DraftKings, the Huskies hold -125 odds for bettors, while FanDuel gives UConn slight better odds at -120. 

San Diego State holds +400, Miami at +450, and Florida Atlantic at +650 at DraftKings to take the crown as best college basketball team in the United States. At FanDuel, San Diego State clocks in with +390, Miami at +450, and FAU at +550.

The most popular hypothetical finals matchup and outcome at FanDuel pits Connecticut over San Diego State at +230. The longest odds go to San Diego State beating Miami at +1000.
