This week, the Rivers Casino locations in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia announced a campaign to attract new and experienced table games dealers for their most popular gaming locations in Pennsylvania.

Touting a starting wage of $30 per hour for new dealers, the Rivers Casino hopes the higher salary will attract skilled dealers to their gaming locations in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

“When it comes to dealers’ pay, Rivers Casino brings more to the table,” said Tim Drehkoff, CEO of Rivers Casino and Rush Street Gaming, via press release. “We also provide a great environment. Rivers Casino in both Pittsburgh and Philly have repeatedly been voted a ‘Best Place to Work’ and ‘Top Workplace’ by our Team Members.”

Upon hiring, dealers can also qualify for healthcare, a 401(k) vesting program, tuition reimbursement, and free parking at both locations.

Rivers Casino Offers Promise to Cover All Certification Costs for New Hires

In addition to the $30 per hour and benefits packages available to new hires, Rivers Casino also offers new dealers the opportunity to gain their dealer training certification free of charge.

Dealers can increase their salary by learning to deal baccarat, blackjack, roulette, and craps, helping them move up the Rivers Casino pay scale. Having multiple certifications also helps add variety to the regular shift and offers better schedule flexibility to multi-certified employees.

To apply for the dealer positions, Rivers Casino does not require previous casino experience, and applicants only need to be 18 years of age.

Currently, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh offers 95 table games, 55 hybrid gaming seats, and a 30-table poker room. In comparison, Rivers Casino Philadelphia houses 78 table games, 66 hybrid gaming seats, and a 28-table poker room, along with their BetRivers Sportsbook, offering a central hub to one of the top Pennsylvania online sports betting apps.
